Course overview

This live-streaming, instructor-led course helps you build a solid foundation in configuring and operating Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs). Over five consecutive days—with each session lasting 3.5 hours—you’ll gain all the practical knowledge needed to get your robots moving and working efficiently.

You’ll learn about key design requirements, how to select and configure toppers for different tasks, explore robot anatomy, and master software setup and task execution. We’ll give you the confidence to design, commission, and maintain AMRs in real-world environments. Later in the course, you’ll dive into fleet management essentials, including queuing, job distribution, and advanced communications.

Hands-on simulation technology lets you experiment with a virtual fleet of AMRs. These digital twins replicate the look and behavior of our robots and fleet management server, giving you a risk-free environment to practice and refine your skills.

By the end of the course, you’ll be ready to deploy AMRs for smarter, safer, and more productive operations.

Course objectives

This training will equip you to:

  • Identify and understand the key components of an AMR
  • Connect and configure AMRs for reliable performance
  • Design and edit navigation maps to guide robot movement
  • Optimize travel paths and control movement within your workspace
  • Master localization techniques for precise navigation
  • Set and command navigation goals for autonomous operation
  • Automate tasks and enable robots to work independently
  • Manage and coordinate fleets using Fleet Manager
  • Create and assign jobs via Mobile Planner and ARCL command
  • Streamline fleet performance and traffic flow for maximum productivity
  • Implement advanced standby strategies to keep your fleet ready and responsive
