RB1200 Cobot Palletizer Reduces Footprint by 60% and Cuts Costs by 50% with Automated Palletizing

Transforming end-of-line operations for FMCG producers with mobile, flexible automation
For many fast-moving consumer goods producers and small to medium-sized enterprises, traditional palletizers present significant obstacles—taking up valuable floor space, requiring complex setup, and lacking flexibility for changing production needs. Automated palletizing often seemed out of reach for smaller facilities, where adaptability and cost are key.
To address these challenges, Reeco Automation, working with OMRON as a Solution Partner in the UK, developed the RB1200 cobot palletizer. With no need for extensive guarding or heavy infrastructure, the RB1200 occupies just 2.2 x 3.2 meters—a footprint 60% smaller than conventional systems—and costs up to 50% less.
Agile and efficient, the RB1200 can be repositioned between lines in minutes with a standard pump truck, and operators can easily reconfigure pallet patterns using Reeco’s EasyStack visual software—no programming expertise required. Installation is fast, typically two to three weeks, and built-in safety features ensure smooth operation alongside staff. The standardized platform and universal end-effector handle over 90% of box-based products, while custom tooling is available for special applications.
With a 10 kg payload and 12 picks per minute, the RB1200 offers reliable, cost-effective palletizing for smaller producers. By removing barriers to automation, it enables businesses to maximize space, respond quickly to demand, and achieve fast returns—making automated palletizing a practical solution for facilities of any size.
